PlaceLinks Inc. is a Boston-area Internet venture founded in July 1999 to develop a new class of Internet business directory and promotional systems.

PlaceLinks licenses the PlaceLinks Local Commerce Directory System to established web media companies in regional markets, worldwide.

Our web site and proprietary business models are targeted at helping consumers and business to business buyers shop faster and more conveniently for products and services that are distinctly local or regional. Consumers will save time and get great deals because there are many ways to search for the brands, products, stores or deals that they are looking for.

Founders

Chris Sole, CEO, has recently helped to grow and bring public BindView Development (Nasdaq: BVEW), and has previous experience consulting for Internet-related companies. He has held senior positions in a number of software companies. Sole started his career as a Brand Manager in Lever Brothers Ltd. (UK).

Jonathan Bachman, Vice President Development, previously developed and marketed advanced Web publishing systems at Inso Corporation's (Nasdaq: INSO) eBusiness Division where he was Vice President of Marketing. He was co-founder and divisional VP at Bachman Information Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: BACH).
